See Red Women's Workshop: 1974-1983, HUDDERSFIELD
ICA presents ground breaking silkscreen prints, posters and illustrations from the Red Women’s Workshop. The exhibition celebrates the work of three women who , in the 1970s, collectively produced provocative and powerful art in response to negative images of women in the media. Their workshop produced feminist art, acknowledged around the world and is exhibited this July at Huddersfield Gallery. This thought provoking glimpse into feminist history is well worth a peek this weekend.
